The HYC Patio Bar sits right on the Huron River, steps from the docks. It is our open-air bar and kitchen, where members and guests gather for a cold drink, a great bite, and an unbeatable view of the boats coming and going along the marina.

Pull up a seat outside, order from the full Patio Bites & Bevs menu, and settle in as the sun drops over the water. From signature cocktails to fresh Lake Erie perch and walleye, the patio is summer at HYC at its very best.

Patio FAQ

Days, hours, and the details people ask about most before heading down to the water.

What days and hours is the Patio Bar open?

The patio is open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to close, with the kitchen serving 5 to 9 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM, with the kitchen serving 12 to 4 PM. Hours can shift with the weather and the season, so call (419) 433-3113 to confirm before you head down.

Do I need a reservation to sit on the patio?

Patio seating is first come, first served, so no reservation is needed. For larger groups we recommend calling ahead at (419) 433-3113 so we can help you find a spot by the water.

Can I order food on the patio, or just drinks?

Both. The patio serves the full Patio Bites & Bevs menu alongside craft cocktails, beer, and wine. The kitchen keeps shorter hours than the bar, so order your food before the kitchen closes for the night.

Is the patio open to guests, or members only?

The Patio Bar is for members and their guests. Members are always welcome to bring friends and family down for food, drinks, and live music.

Is there live music on the patio?

What happens if the weather turns?

The patio is outdoors and weather dependent. If it rains or the wind kicks up off the lake, hours may change or service may move indoors. When in doubt, give us a call at (419) 433-3113.
